The Belly Of The Beast consists of Kevin Kinane On Chapman Stick, Harmonica and Vocals, Scrunchie White on Guitar and Kyle Goon rounds out The Belly on Drums. Sometimes on bigger stages, Douglas Bellen joins on Keyboards and Flugelhorn to make it a four piece. Carli Marshall jumps on board occasionally on Saxophone and then we are five. Freebee the dog brings it to six but she’s not on the payroll! On smaller stages Slim Belly can be seen as a duo with Kevin and Kyle. Formed in June of 2023, Slim Belly Blues brings a fresh new energy to the ever burgeoning ‘Burque Music Scene!

Big Daddy creates intricate loops and grooves then adds Chapman Stick for a unique One Man World Beat Dance Party. Add funny originals and some blues and you’ve got a combination of Frank Zappa and Tom Waits backed by a combination of The Meters and Fela Kuti!

Be part of the entertainment when RecycleMan brings his Dr. Seuss like RecycleMachine to an event! RecycleMan also goes to schools, libraries, street fairs and private events. Utilizing recycled plastic spoons, buckets and much more, Kevin can literally get hundreds of people of all ages in on the action or do an intimate interactive event focusing on teamwork, rhythm and tone.

With a collection of just about every percussion instrument in the world, this program gets everyone hitting, scraping, shaking and dancing every time! With a focus on Teamwork First, Kevin subtly teaches rhythm, tone and technique for a highly interactive and musically pleasing program.

Seven piece percussion ensemble featuring some of Albuquerque‘s best drummers. Utilizing dozens of instruments from around the world, the Disciples create an instant dance party wherever the are! No electricity needed for this highly musical and mesmerizing group!

Dogs on Drugs is an all original jam band from Albuquerque, NM that features Chapman Stick, Guitars, Synthesizer, Theremin and three Drum / Percussion sections. Dogs On Drugs create a unique soundscape for poetic, spitfire vocals that keeps everyone, including the band, guessing! No cover tunes. No blues. Just original, heavily improvised jams and drum segues that keep the Dance floor overflowing for hours on end.

A stalwart of the east mountain music scene for over four decades, Larry Shryock delivers smooth vocals in a JJ Cale style while thumping the bass. Long time Drummer Kyle Goon was joined by hotshot guitar slinger, Brian White in 2024 and Kevin Kinane was added in 2026 to round out the band on harmonica and percussion.

Since 1995, Kevin has put on an annual show compiled of rotating local stars. It’s 1977 for one night of non stop disco, funk improvisation with each member trying to outdo their costume from the previous year! The audience dresses for excess too for a magical and hilarious night of glam funk madness! Some Improvised lyrics have turned into staple songs from the Blister cannon such as “Ham Samich” and “I slept with my monkey last night”. Hasn’t been a show since Covid but the demand is there so keep an eye out for Disco Jesus, MC Tick Boy and the rest of The Blisters!
